Leave the everyday behind and embrace the flavours of fall with an intimate evening of Okanagan wine, inspired cuisine, and warm mountain hospitality. On Saturday, October 24, join us at The Prow at Buffalo Mountain Lodge before gathering in the Strathcona Room for an exclusive wine dinner limited to just 32 guests.
The evening begins with canapés, followed by a four-course dinner thoughtfully crafted by Chef Lancelot Monteiro and his team. Each course will be paired with wines from Okanagan Crush Pad’s Haywire and Narrative collections, bringing together the flavours of the Okanagan and the Canadian Rockies for a memorable fall dining experience.
The evening will be guided by Okanagan Crush Pad Chief Operating Officer Andrew Raines, who will share the stories behind each pour, the vineyards, and the region. Haywire’s pure, lively wines are shaped by organically farmed vineyards and a low-intervention approach, while Narrative explores the breadth of the Okanagan through cool-climate wines made with grapes sourced from distinctive vineyard sites throughout the valley. Together, the two collections offer an engaging expression of the region, from its northern vineyards and cool evenings to its warmer southern reaches.

About Haywire & Narrative
Based in Summerland, British Columbia, Okanagan Crush Pad crafts wines that express the landscapes, climate, and character of the Okanagan Valley. Its approach begins in organically farmed vineyards and carries through to the cellar, where wild yeast fermentations and low-intervention winemaking are complemented by concrete tanks, clay amphorae, and large-format neutral oak.
Haywire, the winery’s original label, is centred on pure, vibrant wines with a strong sense of place. Freshness and texture allow each vineyard and vintage to speak for itself, revealing the distinctive character of the Okanagan. At the heart of the label is Switchback Vineyard, an organically certified site overlooking Okanagan Lake in Summerland.
Narrative offers a wider lens on the Okanagan Valley. Drawing fruit from the winery’s own vineyards and trusted growers across the region, the collection captures the valley’s diverse growing conditions through aromatic cool-climate wines, distinctive blends, sparkling wines, and limited-production releases.
Your Host: Andrew Raines
Andrew Raines has spent years building relationships with restaurants, boutique wine shops, and members of the wine trade while helping introduce more people to Okanagan Crush Pad’s portfolio.
His path to wine began in the natural products industry, where he worked in sales education before a growing passion for wine inspired a career change. Andrew joined Okanagan Crush Pad in 2020 and has since held senior roles across sales and marketing, bringing a deep understanding of both the wines and the people behind them to his current role as Chief Operating Officer.
Today, Andrew helps lead the winery’s operations and strategic growth across its portfolio, including Haywire, Narrative, Free Form, and Garnet Valley Ranch. As host for the evening, he’ll share the stories behind the wines, the vineyards that shape them, and the Okanagan landscape that brings them to life.
